Janice married Bill Sowden and had two boys. She later moved to Minot, divorced and moved to southern California. 

She later married Joe Banuelos and had another son. After Joe passed away she moved to Minnesota to be closer to her other two sons. She passed away on March 11, 2003, cancer, and was buried at Carrington Cemetary next to her Father.
