Thursday June 28, Friday June 29 and Saturday June 30

The Location: Carrington, ND

Thursday: There will be a get-together at Dakota Sun Gardens & Winery, rural Carrington. Merleen (Bickett), Class of '65 and Bruce Gussiaas are the owners. There are beautiful floral gardens available for tour followed by hors d’ oeuvres and sampling some of the wines that the Gussiaas’ bottle at the winery. Meet at the park shelter (by the swimming pool) not later than 4 PM and we'll all drive out together.

Friday & Saturday: - There will potentially be some tours in town. (CHS, (that we attended), City Library, Putnam House, Carrington Research Extension Center, and the Historical Society) Please indicate your interest on the registration form.

 

Friday @ 4:00 P.M.: - We will meet at the Eagles in New Rockford for a steak or shrimp supper, followed by the musical at the Opera House. (Past musicals have featured some great talent, and have always been very entertaining.)

 

Saturday Evening: There will be a Class of '62 program, with a buffet supper. (at the Chieftain)

A block of rooms has neen reserved at the Chieftain, the Country Inn & Suites (across from Chieftain) and also at the Cobblestone Inn & Suites. Rate information & Phone numbers are provided below:

Cobblestone Inn & Suites: 701 - 652 - 3000 or 888-693-8262 > by the Prairie Inn, north of the city, is a new motel that will open in March, watch for rate information to be posted here soon.

Thursday: $ 15.00 per person

Friday:      $ 40.00 per person (includes meal and musical)

Saturday:  $ 25.00 per person

Total:        $ 80.00 per person

The 50th Reunion Committee looks forward to seeing everyone again, We hope you can attend and participate in all events. However, if your schedule only allows attendance at specific events, please register for those.

 

The Grade School where it all began for many of us, but no fancy slide back then. (In fact I believe it was a nice grassy area on both sides of the sidewalk leading up to the front door with a merry go round swings etc off to the right side of the school.)
